In addition to building
new homes, I am available to work with people who want to
contract the building of their own home, but just don't
know where to start. My work as a consultant can assist you
with developing plans, finding the proper subcontractors,
performing inspections, and any other help you may need. I
can offer a "mini-class" for individuals or couples about
to step out into the world of building a home. This
mini-class consists of several hours of intense education
about the many steps and decisions involved in building a
house. This time would be very individualized and would
allow plenty of time for asking questions. A packet of
information would go home with the customers reviewing much
of the information covered. Telephone assistance would be
available as shown below in my pricing structure. Before
you dismiss this as unnecessary or too expensive, consider
the cost of each mistake on your home. How much will it
cost you if you use the wrong insulation, heating
equipment, or windows? What if that "good ol' boy" who says
he'll frame your house for such a great price . . . doesn't
really know what he's doing? I know people who "winged it"
on their own and they will pay for many problems for as
long as they own that house.
